One, thank you for coming to my page! Please don’t be shy; I love hearing from all of you and if you need anything (itinerary, photography tips, questions, etc), please send me a message or leave a comment under the blog! I just have to warn you…my itineraries are not for the faint of heart…my travel mode is can’t stop, won’t stop. But also, I’ve sent videos of my edit processes, helped someone start their website, etc. If I’m able, I’m totally willing to help out! I’m an open book and my philosophy is to share anything and everything I can. Everyone should have all the tools available to reach their dreams, and if I can lend a hand to that, I’m more than happy to!
Now, a little about me.
My name is Michelle and I’m currently living in Washington DC and working a 9-5 job as an engineer and program manager. As much as I love my job, my passion is travel and photography. Funny thing is, I started pretty late on the whole travel game compared to most bloggers/instagrammers. I didn’t leave the country (US) until I was about 27 years old…and I haven’t stopped. I’ve literally ran my leave down to 0 hours every year, taking any opportunity to get out and explore!
You’re probably wondering…if you’re name is Michelle, why is it Skye Travel & Photography? Well, I had been already to some of Europe (Germany, Czech, Netherlands, France, and Iceland), and to Japan, Taiwan, and New Zealand before reaching Scotland. All of those places were just breathtaking, but when I got to the Isle of Skye, I just felt like I belonged there. There’s a wild beauty there, and even in the misty haze of the gray rain, it stands out. I climbed that Old Man of Storr and wandered around for less than 2 days and fell in love. I came back 2 years later (almost to the day) and still was in awe.
Hope to hear from you soon!
